October 27–31, 2025 — The International Symposium on China's Dinosaurs: From Research to Science Education was successfully held in Shanghai, drawing leading paleontologists, museum directors, and science education experts from more than ten countries around the world.

The symposium was jointly organized by the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum and Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology (IVPP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, with FiveM Animation as co-organizers.
The event was chaired by distinguished scholars including Dr. Zhou Zhonghe(member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Dr. Xu Xing(member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences; Director of IVPP), and Professor Ni Minjing, (Director of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum). The symposium also welcomed Dr. Jay Jie Xu, Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and Director Emeritus of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco, as Co-Chair, ensuring both academic depth and an international perspective.

As a co-organizer, FiveM Animation played an active role in the event’s organization and demonstrated its professional expertise during the thematic discussions. Company General Manager Luo Jinfeng delivered a keynote speech titled "Fusing Digitalization and Storytelling to Create New Mods of Science Communication", sharing FiveM Animation's innovations and best practices in applying digital technologies to science communication.

Breathing Life into Science Through Digital Innovation
In his address, Luo emphasized that in today’s information age, effective science communication requires both technological empowerment and creative content development. FiveM Animation integrates AI, VR, and immersive exhibition technologies with compelling storytelling to create engaging, educational, and emotionally resonant science experiences.
“We aim to transform knowledge into immersive experiences that the public can truly feel and enjoy,” Luo said. “Through digital innovation, dinosaurs are no longer just museum skeletons—they become vivid stories that inspire curiosity and imagination.”
This vision has been fully realized in FiveM Animation’s exhibition, "China' s Dinosaur World" .Since its opening on May 31, 2025, the exhibition has welcomed over 400,000 visitors, making it one of Shanghai' s most popular science exhibitions of the year.

International Recognition: The Chinese Dinosaur Exhibition Goes Global
During the symposium, delegates visited "China' s Dinosaur World", which showcases 118 representative dinosaur fossils and models from 12 leading research institutions and museums across China. Among them are approximately 80 nationally protected fossils and 42 type specimens of newly named dinosaur species—setting a new record in both quantity and quality.
Director Ni Minjing revealed that museums in the United States, France, Thailand, and Japan have expressed strong interest in hosting the exhibition, aiming to share the story of China’s dinosaur discoveries with global audiences.

Serving as a vital bridge between dinosaur research and public education, the International Symposium on China's Dinosaurs: From Research to Science Education not only showcased China’s growing influence in global paleontology but also fostered technological innovation, educational advancement, and international collaboration.
Looking ahead, FiveM Animation will continue to leverage our strengths in digital technology and storytelling to bring China’s scientific achievements—including its world-renowned dinosaur discoveries—to audiences around the world, delivering ever richer and more inspiring scientific and cultural experiences.
